RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Post - Graduate Teacher of Plastic Surgery University of Bombay. Actively involved in training of students for plastic surgery from all over India.

ii) Started Burns Unit at Thana Civil Hospital in July 1975, with the help of local Industrialists & Lions Club. I supervised the unit with regular weekly visits till 1980. Developed the simplified treatment of Burns to Combat Surface infection & morbidity. The treatment is now an accepted method in most of the burns centers in India & abroad.

iii) Joint secretary cum treasurer, Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand 1975 – 79.

iv) Secretary cum Treasurer, Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand 1979 - 86.
